Cone idler assemblies(also known as conical/tapered idlers,self-aligning cone idlers)are specialized conveyor components engineered for automatic belt tracking,anti-deviation,and stable support in bulk material handling systems.Their tapered roller design creates differential linear speeds at contact points,generating a centering force to pull off-track belts back to the centerline,making them indispensable for long conveyors,curved sections,and high-load operations.

Structure

A standard cone idler assembly includes:

Tapered Rollers:Steel(with rubber/polyurethane coating options)with different diameters at each end;paired symmetrically on a frame(upper/lower aligning configurations).
